Singer/songwriter Lina Koutrakos is a Diva for the ages. Her southern influenced music is rooted in both her nomadic childhood and Greek heritage and it presents us with an artist whose voice is alive with a cultural intimacy we didn’t know existed until we experience her incredible talent. Koutrakos has repeated sold out the legendary "Bottom Line" and sang to standing room only at Manhattans B.B Kings. She won the 2007 MAC Award for 'Best Female Vocalist of the Year' in New York City. Her powerful band weaves their way from world pop through southern rock to gospel blues in a musical tapestry that has played to rave reviews in most of the top venues throughout Manhattan. She wraps up this moving 9/11 film with her own sensitive and flawless rendition of its heartrending closing theme song. was chosen out of hundreds of her peers to be part of ASCAP'S Advanced songwriting workshop and has received accolades on a handful of her original pop/rock songs.
