Advanced Performers Workshop Lina Koutrakos just recently called "A walking Master Class" has taught performance workshops throughout the United States for over 10 years now.She teaches the already seasoned singer to make the most out of their live performances. She helps them find, both through craft and some self-realization, their own authenticity to set them above and apart from just another "great voice". From American Idol candidates to theater singers, pop/rock and r&b singer/songwriters and cabaret artists Koutrakos's experience as a Director and singer herself, take you to your own identity and sound. This is all and only based on who YOU are as you take the center-stage spot light.Lina was on staff at both The Eugene O'Neill and Yale programs for performances of this nature. She has won both New York's MAC Award (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) and the BACKSTAGE BISTRO Award for "Best Director".
For the past 7 years Lina has coupled up with fellow director Lennie Watts to do their program Summer in the City/Manhattans Cabaret Intensive. She does master classes alone and with other performances teacher occasionally throughout the year and teaches a steady 9-month a year advanced performance workshop in New York City with Rick Jensen at the piano.
